SCENE 1. INT. AKWESI’S CAR – DAY
Akwesi ANSAH, (36) is sitting in his plush car as he drives. We close in on Akwesi, hands. “Debi Debi ebe ye yie” playing softly in the background. He has three different terminal reports and a another set of school bill on the dash board. He has his head bowed down. He sparks the car and as the car moves forward, he nearly bumps into a Akosua (24). Akosua is carrying her hand bag. Akwesi sticks out his head out of the car gate. Akosua seems to react to the shock of being hit by the car.
SCENE 2. EXT. OUTSIDE – DAY
Akwesi is with Akosua trying to ascertain whether there has been any damage.
I’m sorry madam. Hope you didn’t sustain any injury?
Not really. You were driving so carelessly, isn’t it?
Please forgive me, i also can’t blame myself entirely. Any way where are you headed, let me use this opportunity to take you there, so you don’t get smashed by another person.
They all laugh. Akosua hops into the Akwesi’s car.
SCENE 3. INT. AKWESI’S CAR – DAY
Akosua takes the bills from the dash board ad looks through them. She flips it from one bill to the other. She puts them down and looks at Akwesi.
You seem to be new around here?
Akosua laughs and keeps a simple smile. She sighs and sulks in the car seat. She lays her head on the chair bag.
You know it hard these days to raise three young children, but if you have a loving wife, which i hope you are…
Akwesi turns to look at Akosua, only to realize that she has fainted in the car. Akwesi then stops the car. He waves his hand beneath her nose to ascertain whether, she is dead or alive. He the takes her hand and checks her pulse. He quickly sparks the car and hits the accelerator hard.
SCENE 4. EXT. HOSPITAL, O.P.D – DAY
Dr. Owusu, (30) comes out and comes to embrace Akwesi. Akwesi looks dumb founded as he stares at Dr. Owusu motionless.
Finally, you’ve managed to water your garden. Congratulations, after all you have followed my legacy. Please come with me.
Akwesi becomes speechless as he seems at sea with what Dr. Owusu is saying.
SCENE 5. EXT. HOSPITAL, OUTSIDE – DAY
The two are outside of the hospital. Dr. Owusu is beaming with smiles. He has his sethoscope in his hand.
Akwesi, i am very excited. At least for the first time, you have listened to me. Forget about your wife’s fake for you. You ow have another … And that makes it four.
You mean to say that girl is pregnant?
Yes, she is…
Dr. Owusu laughs be and pauses for a while.
You want me to believe that you are still a good married man? Anyway that girl is pregnant that was why she passed out in your car. But she claims you are responsible for that.

SCENE 6. INT. HOSPITAL, DR. OWUSU’S CONSULTING ROOM – DAY
Akwesi looks jaded sitting in front of Dr. Owusu’s table. Dr. Owusu brings out a small plastic card and he spits on it. Dr. Owusu then goes out. Akwesi brings out a picture of his wife and one of their children. He kisses the picture.
I promise you that i will never cheat on you. I am at the cross road. I know am innocent, i could be guilty even though i once slept with a girl when i was drank, and especially because we fought that night over a bar of soap.
Dr. Owusu enters the room. He holds a piece of paper in his hand. He looks so sad and confused himself. When he enters he goes to sit down and face him.

Owusu, what is the problem?
Dr. Owusu relaxes comfortably in his office chair. He pulls forward and hands the report over to him.
Well, Akwesi, you know we have been friends since childhood.

Akwesi moves out of the room.
SCENE 7. EXT. HOSPITAL, OUTSIDE – DAY
Akwesi has opened his car to sit inside. He removes the picture and kisses it.
Thank God i am so faithful to you.
He looks at the picture and brings it down slowly. He looks at the picture carefully.
