In today’s competitive world, where the art of giving seems to grow colder like frost, it seems there are still hearts made with love and no blood at all. This metaphorical heart seems to grow warm like fuel that carries a train. CAPE 360, a media and humanitarian organization, has made a streak of donations to lots of schools such as Ayensudo Akoma International School and many more; however, the Edukrom D/A Basic school has received it’s share of the booty.
On Monday and Tuesday, 13th and 14th March respectively, CAPE 360 made donations to the Edukrom D/A Basic School. The donation was made in collaboration with YISIBEL FOUNDATION, another NGO, that has an aim of ensuring that children of school going age have writing and other academic materials for a successful and smooth education.
The two organizations who are based in Cape Coast joined hands to donate the set of branded CAPE 360 exercise books to the pupils whose faces were lit with happiness after the head teacher, Mr. Phillip Aidoo received the items and thanked the two groups for their magnanimous and philanthropic gesture. This donation marks YISBEL’s many philanthropic acts, however, it is their first time making book donations at the particular school. The headmaster, who was grateful commended them.
In attendance for the donation was the daughter of Ms. Hagar Amonoo, the daughter of the chief of Akonoma, who also doubles as a volunteer for YISIBEL foundation. The magnitude of this historic presentation also drew Mr. Nicholas Ampofo, from the Accounts Section of the University of Cape Coast, to also attend the donation. YISIBEL FOUNDATION and CAPE 360 have thus promised to support the school in all it’s endeavors.
